We got up at 2am to go to climb Mt Warning, "Crazy Canadians". We wanted to watch the sunrise, and the strenuous 2 hour climb (4 hours total) was well worth it, the views were beautiful! Mt Warning volcano has a 30 km diameter erosion caldera, and is 1124m high, it was a tough climb in the dark. We were just thrilled we didn't encounter any snakes.

Looks like you guys are having lots of fun exploring and hiking!! What fun!! I don't think waking up at 2am for a 4am hike sounds like fun to me though!! Why not see the sunset, instead of the sun rising??
Well, you might as well check it all out while you're there. How is Gil's job?? Amanda - you're looking great!! Hope all is well you. We are going to see Mom and Dad next weekend.
