It was off to Sydney... Amanda went ahead to scope things out, while Gilbert caught up on the weekend. Sydney is very similar to Toronto. Obviously the landmarks are different, we enjoyed walking the Harbour Bridge, the Circle Quay and taking in "Bubble" at the Sydney Opera House.

Not surprisingly our favourite was walking through the enormous Botanical Gardens. Amanda played with the Sulphur Crested Cockatoos (as common as squirrels) and we were amused by the Flying Foxes (very large bats), they hang very high in the trees basking in the sun so it was hard to get a close up shot of these.
Taking in "Bubble" at the Sydney Opera House. Neither of us are interested in opera so we opted for a unique dance performance by Legs on the Wall. http://www.sydneyoperahouse.com/whatson/bubble.aspx
